Amazon shipped this overnight to get it to me on the day of launch (Sept. 15) - excellent job. I was very impressed.
The Zune HD is a marvelous device. The screen is gorgeous - I haven't seen much better. The user interface is very slick and very snappy; I never find myself waiting for something to happen. On top of that, aside from a few minor UI interface glitches - a screen or two lacks the capability of going "back," but nothing that can't be fixed with a software fix - it is very intuitive, and literally puts everything at your fingertips.
The Zune Marketplace doesn't have the smorgasboard of apps that the iTunes store does, but I can't quite fault the Zune or Microsoft. After all, this has only been out for two days. Look for more apps in the near future - but remember, the Zune is a PMP at heart - and it does that job nearly flawlessly.
