I'm a bit of an audiophile and I also happen listen to a LOT of radio. I've been an Apple fan for a while now: I own an iPhone, a 4th and 5th gen iPod and 1 Nano. I cannot say that the sound quality on the Apple line is great but it's adequate for most purposes - especially on long runs. I've sampled higher fidelity player from iRiver and used them for a while too before reverting to the Nano because of it's portability. I used the first and second gen Zunes and thought they were lacking in multiple ways - portability, audio quality and the radio wasn't the best eitehr.
With the Zune HD, I've finally found what I was looking for: The music quality is excellent, HD radio is like a godsend for me and almost everything that was lacking in the first and second gen Zunes has been fixed.
The Zune software is eye candy and beats the iTunes interface hands down. But I think what I love most is that I get to keep 10 songs a month for my $15. $5 for access to the entire catalog on my machines and the Zune has me rushing to sell all my other media players.
