Zune HD 32 GB Video MP3 Player (Platinum) This instant

Figured I would throw out a comparison.. First off I love the Ipod, the apps are cool and fun to play with. Really enjoyed it for the first couple weeks but definitely noticed once the excitement wore off I was just using it to play my mp3's and maybe a video here and there on a flight or long ride. In comparison the Zune didn't offer as much "fun factor" stuff. It's without a doubt, at least out of the box more focused on being a portable music/video player with the ability to check emails or the weather or whatever quick internet fix you may need on the run. So it comes with what I ultimately used the Ipod for and not a lot extra. In return I liked the fit and finish of the Zune over the Ipod, I feel the matte finish is less likely to scratch than the chrome finish on the Ipod thus negating the need for bulky skins or cases that make the already bigger Ipod even worse to pocket. The Zune feels better in my pocket, less noticeable. The HD capability is cool but I just don't see the point, if I want to watch an HD video I'll use my BD player or watch some HD cable. Finally, the software.. I LOVE the Zune software I use a home theater PC and while playing music through Zune software a very cool screensaver like video will play featuring neat pictures of the currently playing artist and info about that artist/ album.. Very cool for parties, just makes a neat focal point. I even catch myself stopping and watching while cleaning and stuff. Itunes annoys me, can't explain it I just don't like it. I expect more apps and cool stuff will be coming along for Zune but in my opinion it does exactly what it's supposed to do very well. I'll also say that I think the Zune has a better battery life than the ipod but only a few days into the Zune it's hard to say.Get more detail about Zune HD 32 GB Video MP3 Player (Platinum).
